Town of Walden Job Opportunities

The Walden Selectboard is accepting bids for roadside mowing of all 49 miles of Walden town roads.  Mowing should commence by July 13,2026 and to be completed by August 24, 2026.  All work is to be done at the direction of the Town Road Foreman. Sealed bids for the total amount plainly marked as “ROADSIDE MOWING BID” will be received until 4:00 pm on April 20, 2026, at the Walden Town Office. Enclose a Certificate of Insurance with bid. The Board reserves the right to make the selection based on all factors and may not necessarily choose the lowest bid.  The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids deemed not to be in the best interest of the Town.
