Dog Licenses

Annually the State of Vermont requires that all dogs or wolf-dog hybrids six months of age or older be licensed with the Town Clerk by April 1st. A current rabies certificate must be presented or on file in the Town Clerk’s Office before a license may be issued. Licenses are available each year as of Jan 2nd. The fee to register a spayed or neutered-dog in Walden is $9 and the fee if the animal is not spayed or neutered is $13. After April 1st this increases to $11.00 and $17.00.
